Cockney Lama

Cockney Lama aka Konstantinos Malamis was born and raised in Thessaloniki in the 1980s. As a DJ he made his first steps in the late 90’s, working with big names in well-known clubs of the time in Thessaloniki, Halkidiki (“Molos Beach Bar”, “Nono Club”, “Golden Beach”, “Sushi Bar”), Volos (“Plastic Club”) and Skiathos (“Bromolimnos Beach Bar”).

In 2010 and after a remarkable career in Greece, he decides to move to London where he takes over the residency of the club “The Collection” and “Love and liquor” where he opens parties for artists such as Idris Elba. At the same time, he works in the studio writing music for the legendary Henry Street Music and Robsoul records.

In 2012, one of his tracks is ranked in the TOP10 songs of the year according to DJ Mag international and has the same success in 8 other countries. More releases followed that were reviewed and supported by holy monsters of the electronic scene like Marco Carola , John Digweed , Agoria , Terry Francis , Danny Howells , AME , X-Press 2 , Reboot , Oxia , Till von Sein etc.

At the same time, his radio show on DeepVibes London and Ibiza global radio is going viral.

In 2015 he returned to Greece, continuing his career to this day in various cities: Thessaloniki (“Delilah by Night”, “Manoir”, “Mecca”, “High School”) Athens (O2), Mykonos (O2), Halkidiki (“Cabana Beach”, “Mangata Summer) but also with guests in Greece and abroad such as Turkey, Holland, Cyprus and England. Finally, it maintains a solid partnership with the Costa Navarino chain.
