Based in Romania, Alex Slav, aka Professor (RO), has taken center stage in the DJing world and has undoubtedly raised the bar in the music industry. His Organic House, filled with afro and smooth deep, downtempo beats, and groovy basslines, is highly acclaimed, leaving his audiences wanting more.

He makes it look effortless, but it’s his dedication and creativity that have propelled him to success so quickly. It wasn’t long before he started receiving support from some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Sam Divine, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Phonique, and Paul Oakenfold, who have consistently praised his productions.

Unleashing his mystical harmonics and lighting the way for the deep house vibe, he has captivated audiences at open-air events around the world, from festivals to residencies in locations such as Mykonos, Athens, Milan, Como, and Doha – Qatar, becoming an integral part of the Nuba Club and Hiro Bay showcase series.

Professor (RO) launched his own label, Organnic, in 2022. Since then, with regular podcasts on Dance FM Romania, Vanilla Radio GR, and new releases lined up on top labels, he’s been making waves. Full of mystery but always maintaining the right groove, his Organnic releases continue to captivate audiences, establishing him as a key figure for major labels like Cafe De Anatolia or Selectro.

In 2022, he became one of the standout names at Tuya’s parties, not just in Bucharest, but especially in Mykonos, aligning himself with industry heavyweights like MoBlack, Badbox, Moojo, Vasilis, Francis Mercier & more.

Known for the moods he creates, Professor’s productions have earned spots on the playlists of top radio stations. Speaking of radio, his remix of Stereo Love by Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina climbed to #1 on Dance FM Romania’s Top 20 last summer.
